Winter holidays at the Hotel Bärenbachhof in Saalbach

In the morning, there’s only one thing that matters: getting out on the slopes. At the Bärenbachhof, you’ll find everything you need for an easy start to your ski day. Store your skis and snowboards safely in our ski storage area, with a separate ski boot room for your gear.

If you prefer not to walk to the lift, you can use the free ski bus. Need to hire your equipment? As a Bärenbachhof guest, you’ll also receive special rates on ski and snowboard rental from our partner Skifürst Saalbach.

Parking is available directly at the hotel for an additional fee. Once you arrive, however, you can usually leave your car parked – Saalbach town centre, the ski lifts and many other places are within easy walking distance or can be reached by ski bus.

At the Bärenbachhof, we like to keep things simple. Store your skis and snowboard safely in our ski storage area, leave your boots in the separate ski boot room and start your day without any unnecessary fuss.

The free ski bus gives you even more flexibility when heading to the slopes. If you need to hire skis or a snowboard, our guests receive special rental rates from our partner Skifürst Saalbach.

Meet for breakfast in the morning, head out onto the slopes together and catch up again when everyone returns to the hotel. There’s still plenty of time for the sauna, a drink in our cosy lounge or dinner together.

Smaller groups and teams are very welcome too. Easy access to the ski area and Saalbach town centre, comfortable rooms and plenty of space to spend time together make group stays simple and relaxed.

And you certainly don’t need to come as a group. Couples and solo travellers will feel just as welcome at the Bärenbachhof.

Don’t feel like spending every day on the slopes? There’s plenty to discover in Saalbach beyond skiing. Explore the winter hiking trails, go tobogganing, stop for lunch at a mountain hut or simply enjoy a relaxed afternoon in the village. Sometimes, a day without ski boots is exactly what you need.

If you’re in the mood for a livelier atmosphere, you’ll find plenty of mountain huts, bars and après-ski spots around the lifts and in Saalbach town centre. Prefer something quieter? Take a walk through the village or explore the surrounding winter landscape on foot.

From the Bärenbachhof, it’s easy to get wherever you want to go. The town centre is within walking distance and plenty of winter activities are close by. So every morning, you can simply decide what you feel like doing that day.
